Its the Holiday Season...

Our ward Christmas party was Saturday night - dinner, entertainment and a visit from Santa! I can't believe how close Christmas is... the days are just going to FLY by. If Thanksgiving were a little earlier in November, then we could get an extra week or two of Christmas fun crammed in there.

You know, in Canada, Thanksgiving is the second Monday in October - sounds like they get a really long time to get ready for Christmas!

Gavan was SO excited when Santa appeared on the stage - he was waving and grinning from ear to ear!

And no, I don't bring my kids to parties in dirty clothes - I'm pretty sure that's chocolate cake on his sleeve. :)

I think Myla was a little creeped out by Santa (he and his wife were played by very nice members from our ward before the boundary change). She didn't say so afterwards but she looked less-than-comfortable up there.

She told us that she was going to ask Santa for a (wait for it...) Toyota for Christmas. She's not even FIVE let alone SIXTEEN... Oh boy.
