Its a New Year

I hope all of you had a great Christmas and New Year's - we sure did! Lots of food, fun and family. Myla just had a birthday so I need to add some pics of that on here. And today we celebrated my brother Michael's birthday too. So, it seems that, for our family at least, the parties have just kept coming even though the holidays are past.

Nick and I set some goals for 2010 - here's hoping we accomplish a good percentage of them! I always enjoy the start of a new year. There's a lot to look forward to and it feels like a fresh start. Hopefully we'll get back to normalcy around here soon and there won't be baked goods and chocolate always within arms reach anymore! By January, I'm usually burned out on goodies and treats and I've come back to knowing just how great a fresh crisp salad tastes. Thankfully that has been the case this year so I'm gonna go stock up on produce this week!

Fresh produce really does sound good! But I haven't gotten sick of goodies and chocolates. Sad. I guess I didn't get enough for the holidays... =)
